Ever since the Club’s inception there has been at its core a group of members who get together to compete in Sprints and Hillclimbs throughout the year.
This group of around ten drivers is known as the ‘Flying A’ s. They don’t always race together, and they may not do the same events every year, but by sharing event information there is a common benefit.
There is no set event calendar, but event details are shared so that others may, if they wish to, join in. Each event has to be entered separately, and it is advisable to book early, as some events fill up very quickly. Watch the News and Events pages of this site to hear about upcoming meetings.
The group is keen to attract ‘New Blood’ to the Flying A’s and would love to hear from anyone who is interested in learning more about competing in 2026. They are always very happy to give advice.
