We have been invited to display our cars for the fourth year in the grounds of the fabulous Chatsworth House, sited adjacent to the vintage car display which is always fascinating. For those who haven’t been before, this is a special and very enjoyable event which for the last few years has attracted close to 100,000 visitors over the three days and with plenty of activities and shopping. You have been warned. It’s a great and interesting atmosphere.
A few members have already expressed a wish to attend again, and we can take up to 12 cars per day. The cost is £15 for car and two passengers which will cover up to the three days. If you can come for just one that’s fine, equally two or three also. This is a big saving on the standard entry charges as we are sure you will realise. Car passes will be supplied along with separate wrist bands for each day prior to the event. Payment on the day please, as this goes directly to the Estate via the vintage car gathering. We are expected to be in place by 9.00 am each day until 7.00 pm but negotiations are ongoing as before to release us earlier.
In addition, we usually book a table for up to 12 for dinner at the local hostelry in Barlow (just out of the Estate) and attendees are welcome to join us.
