C.A.R. invites Club members to a visit to The Shuttleworth Collection on Saturday 10 October 2026.
The collection, located in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9DT comprises airworthy vintage aircraft from 1909 – 1950 as well as historical agricultural and steam exhibits, veteran cars, classic motorcycles, bicycles, vintage buses and carriages together with the gardens and house. Car clubs are welcomed to the venue and the arrangements set out below are very beneficial.
The intended format is:
- Arrival time 10.30 am/10.45 am at reserved car parking outside Hanger 5. If the weather is favourable the hanger doors will be opened for a group photograph
- Rendezvous for coffee approximately 11.00 am and then everyone is free to enjoy the venue at their own pace.
- Admission per car (covers 2 people) is £12.00 (normal admission is £19.50 per person) for which you will receive a 30 day return visit voucher for each person.
- There is also the option of a guided tour which will commence at about midday and last for 90 minutes. This will cost £10 per person and should be booked with your entrance ticket.
- Please note to obtain the discount, tickets will need to be purchased in advance, details will be made available to interested members shortly.
