Members who attended our AGM or read the Chair’s report in the last Le Journal will be aware that we have been working on a new Club website to sit side by side with our Facebook page.
Work on the first stage of the website was completed at the beginning of February, and we went live with it last week at our URL – www.clubalpinerenault.org.uk. The site is still a work in progress, and there are elements we would like to add, not least uploading all the past issues of Le Journal.
We hope that you will appreciate the new, contemporary design and functioning of the site. While it remains relatively simple, there are a few new features:
- An online form for joining and renewing membership
- The ability to filter events by type and region
- A section for Alpine UK’s news
- An archive section that will highlight articles from past Le Journals
There will be more to come, and we are happy to hear your feedback as we continue to develop the site. We can be reached at info@clubalpinerenault.org.uk.
At present we have focussed our efforts on the elements which we believe will be of most interest to members and those which have clearly had little or no use in recent times have been shelved for the present. If there is any support/justification for the reinstatement of these, then your Committee are happy to enter into a discussion.
This is a radical move forward for the Club and no doubt there will be some hiccups, please bear with us. Please contact any Committee member if you have ideas as to how we can improve/expand the site.
CAR Curborough Track Day Wednesday 29 April 2026
Club Alpine Renault are pleased to announce that another members’ track day will be held at Curborough Sprint Course on Wednesday 29 April 2026 from 9.30 am to approx 4.00 pm.
