STEM on Track
Club Alpine Renault are supporting the ‘Stem on Track’ National Finals at Whilton Mill Karting Track on Saturday 20 June 2026. The Club has curated a display of Alpine cars for the event, and members are eligible to a discount that reduces tickets from £10 to £3. The discount code has been circulated to members with the email version of the News Sheet. If that is not to hand, members are welcome to email us at info@clubalpinerenault.org.uk.

CAR Curborough Track Day
Spaces are still available for the members’ track day at Curborough Sprint Course on Wednesday 29 April. Full details and the application form can be found here on the Events’ pages.
CAR Member of the Year Award
A reminder that all fully paid up members of Club Alpine Renault who attend car shows, participate in track days, write articles for Le Journal and generally engage with the Club and Club events are eligible for this Club Trophy. Although the 2025-26 year will close on 31 July, it’s still worth getting in touch with Tim Jeffrey to log your Alpine activities.

Club Magazine
There is a regular appeal in these News Sheets for content for Le Journal, the Club magazine. To date, we have managed regularly to assemble sufficient articles to sustain a 28 page magazine, in no small part due to a core of regular contributors. This is not the situation at present, and the outlook for the next edition is not good.
We have a current membership of nearly 200, who are taking part in tours, visiting places of interest, maintaining or modifying their cars, having them serviced or repaired, taking part in local, national and international car-related events, flying the CAR flag in competition, having local pub/café meet ups . . . the list goes on. There is therefore a sizeable group of activities which could offer members an opportunity to share their experiences and make their contribution to the ongoing viability of the magazine.
