PistonHeads Annual Service 2026
We are delighted to announce that we have booked an official Club stand with the PistonHeads team for their hugely popular Annual Service event at Bicester Motion on Saturday 8 August 2026.
This is always a fantastic day out, attracting an impressive variety of interesting vehicles with plenty to see and do throughout the day. C.A.R. has been allocated a dedicated parking area with additional space for our gazebo. We have initially planned for around 20–30 cars, although this may be expanded if there is strong demand.

STEM on Track – 20 June 2026
Details of this event have appeared in previous News Sheets. The event is backed by the BWT Alpine Formula 1 team. At the request of the organisers, the Club is assembling a display of Alpine cars for the event and is also providing a Trophy for the ‘Best Kart’ to be judged by members present. The event will be held at Whilton Mill Karting Track, Whilton Locks, Daventry NN11 2NH. [NB. This event has been and gone – and was a great success.]
‘Simply French’ Day at Beaulieu – 28 June 2026
Owners of all French cars are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up in the National Motor Museum parkland, for a superb day out for enthusiasts and owners. Club members are invited by Renault Classic Car Club to park with them. There are no ticket discounts, but if people want to park with like-minded Alpine / Renault lovers, they should email Corinne Turner at events@clubalpinerenault.org.uk who will arrange for parking labels to be sent direct.

Classic Nostalgia, Shelsley Walsh – 19 July 2026
CAR members have regularly supported this event since its inception. Quoting their website – “Celebrate the glory days of motorsport with iconic F1 cars, thunderous NASCARs, legendary rally machines and spectacular competition cars from every era. Enjoy non-stop action on and off the track: live demonstrations, star drivers, parades, car club displays and open-access paddocks that put you closer to the excitement than ever. All set against the famous Shelsley Walsh atmosphere – a must-see highlight of the motorsport year.”
