Whether owners of classic or modern Alpines or just an enthusiast, all members enjoy the same privileges.
The membership year runs from 1st August, for which the annual subscription is currently £40. Half year membership is available for £20, for those joining after 1st February. In either case there is a joining fee of £10.
The Club is run by a committee appointed by the membership at each Annual General Meeting with committee members elected for 3 years. One third of the committee retire on an annual basis but can put themselves forward for re-election.
Two editions of the Club magazine ‘Le Journal’ are produced each year, one summer and one winter, and distributed to full members with the content being sourced totally from members’ contributions. Regular newsletters are produced throughout the year informing members of forthcoming events and news items. The Club also has a public Facebook group.
We have a calendar of events, in UK and Europe, which varies each year and includes a Club stand at the annual NEC Classic Car show and a members’ only day at Curborough Sprint Course. Each year the Annual General Meeting is held in early November, and all members are welcome to attend and have the opportunity to air their views and comment on the Club’s activities.
Participation in motor sport is actively encouraged with members entering their cars in sprints, hill climbs and rallies both in UK and Europe.
Members are also encouraged to engage in both Club and externally organised events, and the Club has established an annual Members’ Trophy which is open to all members who wish to participate. More details about the Trophy can be found here.
Where appropriate for both parties, the Club actively supports and is supported by Alpine, and the Club enjoys a good relationship with Alpine.
